Bill is a deeply experienced marketing and branding leader whose career intersects the worlds of advertising, law, journalism, and entertainment. He is an expert in developing high-performing selling and acquisition strategies, and has guided a wide variety of integrated marketing campaigns at leading global agencies in legal services, tech, financial services, not-for-profit member acquisition, retail, DRTV, restaurant and CPG.

Bill now proudly serves as CMO of three law firms—Ben Crump LLC, which has represented the families of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery, and the poisoned children of Flint, Michigan; at Pintas & Mullins, one of the largest advertisers in the legal space, and a pioneer in technology and analytics; and at personalinjury.com, an online platform for consumers seeking representation for a wide-range of case types.

His past clients have included: Justice Defenders/African Prisons Project, Citibank, Dun & Bradstreet, TD Ameritrade, Philips NV, GMAC, Qualcomm, McDonald's, Farmers Insurance Group, and Johnson & Johnson.  He developed the NBC-TV pilot “Mad Ave,” and has been a contributor to the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Chicago Tribune, AdWeek, and Ad Age.

Are You Kidding Me; Planning For Retirement?

Our Contributing Editor, Bill Marks, didn't plan for retirement. Even at nearly 72 years old, he has no plans to retire, un-retire, transition, work less, work harder, or coast on the west coast. Maybe his plan is a plan after all. It's just that the "after" might not be at "all."
